"Myth Defense: Las Fuerzas de La Luz" es un juego de defensa con los mejores elementos de juegos de torres de defensa y es ampliado con algunas características interesantes como la alquimia, runas, mapas aleatorios, campañas, y mucho más.
El juego es compatible con todas las resoluciones de pantalla.

- Campaña: 18 mapas. Repite la campaña muchas veces para obtener un mayor rango.

- Habilidades especiales de torres y monstruos
- Alquimia: crear runas para aplicarlas a las torres. Las runas amplian el funcionamiento de las torres
- Características de la superficie: usa pantanos, charcos y características similares de mapas para las mejores tácticas
- 33 niveles de dificultad
- Game Center
- iCloud
- Varios idiomas
- Sonido panorámico en el campo de batalla; sonido y música originales
- Elementos interactivos de ayuda para principiantes
- Twitter, Facebook, VKontakte, Flickr, etc.

Progreso del jugador de la versión gratuita limitada se puede cargar en la versión completa (Play->Recargar perfil).

El juego tiene dos perfiles distintos. Para juegos avanzados (difícil) y casuales (fácil).
Perfil casual es activado por defecto pero se puede cambiar a otro y ambos perfiles serán guardados.
Versiones anteriores del juego solo tenian un perfil, llamado "avanzada".
